About the founder
Hello beYOUtiful! My name is Mia Vanessa Prom. I am a Filipino-Cambodian-American flow artist, pageant girl, content creator, author, international titleholder, and motivational speaker. Being raised by my Filipino grandparents, my heritage was deeply rooted in me growing up. As the only Filipino-Cambodian in my school, I felt excluded, causing me to be insecure and timid for many years. I was made fun of in person and online numerous times. Over the years, I chose to stand up for myself. I realized I wasn't alone in this struggle and decided to connect with teenagers from all around the world who endured the same struggle. That's why I started my social movement, BeYOUtiful, Be Fly which teaches others that despite their differences, we must embrace what makes us unique. BeYOUtiful, Be Fly has the mission of challenging others to embrace who you are and uplift others. By interviewing pageant queens sharing their unique stories, posting daily positive affirmations, quotes, life guides, and lives on social media, I strive to promote a more inclusive, unifying, and accepting environment for everyone!
